Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce technology supporting our storefront and checkout.

These Terms apply to OurTread customers and website users across the markets we currently support:

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.

Consumer protections can differ between countries.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, reduce or override rights that cannot legally be limited under the law applicable to you.

2. Eligibility and Use of Our Website

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order independently through OurTread.

Anyone under 18 should use the website or make a purchase only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use OurTread for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

  • Provide false, deceptive or materially inaccurate information

  • Interfere with the security or normal operation of the website

  • Introduce viruses, malicious software or harmful technologies

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or information

  • Abuse promotions, payment systems or checkout functionality

  • Reproduce or commercially exploit protected OurTread material without appropriate permission

Where reasonably necessary to protect customers, our systems or our services, we may restrict or suspend access to the website.

OurTread offers footwear and related products intended for running, training, walking and everyday movement.

The appearance of a product on your screen may vary slightly because of factors such as device settings, lighting and the imagery supplied for the product.

Where several sizes, colours or variants are available, please review your selection carefully before completing checkout.

Products remain subject to availability.

Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it.

If an item or selected variant becomes unavailable after an order has been submitted, we will contact you and provide the appropriate available options or refund the affected amount.

We will not silently charge you more than the amount you authorized at checkout.

5. Placing an Order

Before submitting an order, please check the information shown during checkout carefully.

This includes:

  • Product

  • Variant

  • Size

  • Colour

  • Quantity

  • Delivery address

  • Contact information

  • Billing information

  • Currency

  • Final amount payable

After a successful checkout, you should receive an order-confirmation email.

Submission of an order does not prevent us from carrying out reasonable checks relating to:

  • Product availability

  • Payment authorization

  • Transaction security

  • Delivery eligibility

  • Fulfilment requirements

We may be unable to accept or fulfil an order where, for example:

  • The product is unavailable

  • Payment fails or is reversed

  • Required information is materially incomplete or incorrect

  • An obvious pricing or technical error has occurred

  • Legitimate fraud or security concerns arise

  • The delivery address cannot be serviced

  • Fulfilment would be unlawful or reasonably impossible

If OurTread cancels an order after collecting payment, the applicable amount will be refunded without the customer-requested cancellation fee described later in these Terms.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Every order has somewhere to go, and we want the route to be clear before it starts.

OurTread provides Express Free Shipping on all supported orders.

Our normal delivery structure is:

No minimum order value is required to receive free shipping.

Delivery periods are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates.

Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect transit. These can include:

  • Carrier disruption

  • Severe weather

  • Public holidays

  • Customs processing

  • Remote delivery locations

  • Transportation interruptions

  • Other comparable events

Our Shipping Policy contains the complete rules relating to shipping, tracking, delivery addresses, delays and parcels returned to sender.

7. Cancelling an Order

Sometimes plans change before an order gets moving.

OurTread provides a limited voluntary cancellation procedure before fulfilment progresses.

To qualify, both of the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • The cancellation request is made within 8 hours of purchase

  • The order has not yet entered processing

Where permitted by applicable law, an approved customer-requested cancellation is subject to a 9% cancellation fee.

The remaining 91% of the eligible order amount is refunded to the original payment method.

For example, where the eligible order amount is £100:

Cancellation fee: £9
Refund: £91

Cancellation under this procedure becomes unavailable once either:

  • More than 8 hours have passed since purchase, or

  • Processing has already begun

whichever occurs first.

The 9% cancellation fee applies only to qualifying customer-requested cancellations. It does not apply where OurTread cancels an order because we are unable to fulfil it.

Nothing in this voluntary procedure overrides mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights provided by applicable law.

8. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Sometimes the pair is right on paper but not quite right on your feet.

Eligible OurTread products may be returned within 30 days from delivery.

For ordinary change-of-mind, size or fit returns, products should generally be returned:

  • Unused beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them

  • Unwashed

  • Free from marks, stains, odours or damage

  • With original tags where supplied

  • With original packaging where reasonably possible

Footwear may be tried on indoors on a clean surface to check the size and fit.

Shoes being returned for ordinary change-of-mind, size or fit reasons should not have been worn outdoors or used for running, training or everyday wear.

Soles should remain clean and unmarked.

For voluntary returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

OurTread charges no restocking fee.

Eligible exchanges are accepted subject to stock availability.

Once an approved return has been received, inspected and approved, OurTread will process the refund within 10 days, normally to the original payment method.

Different rules may apply where a product is damaged, defective, incorrect or not as described.

Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

9. Third-Party Brands and Intellectual Property

Some products available through OurTread may carry names, logos, trademarks or other intellectual property belonging to third-party brand owners.

Those names, logos, trademarks and related intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

Where they appear on our website, they are used to identify or describe the relevant products.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the display or sale of a third-party branded product does not, by itself, mean that OurTread is:

  • Sponsored by that brand

  • Endorsed by that brand

  • Officially affiliated with that brand

  • The official website of that brand

We do not claim authorized-retailer status or another official relationship unless that status is expressly stated and applicable.

OurTread's own branding, original written content, graphics, page layouts and other materials created specifically for ourtread.com may also be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use our website for ordinary personal shopping and other lawful purposes.

Protected material may not be commercially reproduced, republished or exploited without the appropriate permission.

10. Website Information and Third-Party Services

We make reasonable efforts to keep OurTread accurate and functional.

However, the website may occasionally contain:

  • Typographical errors

  • Outdated information

  • Incorrect specifications

  • Technical inaccuracies

  • Temporary service issues

Where we identify an error, we may correct it.

If a material error affects an existing transaction, we will address the issue fairly rather than silently changing the transaction you agreed to.

Events outside our reasonable control may include:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Customs or border disruption

  • Government restrictions

  • Industrial action

  • Significant infrastructure failures

  • Major technology outages

  • Comparable circumstances outside our reasonable control

If one of these events affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to provide relevant information and determine an appropriate way forward.

15. Taxes, Customs and Import Charges

The price you see should remain the price you expect to pay.

All applicable taxes are included in OurTread's displayed prices.

Customs duties, import taxes, customs-clearance costs and other import-related charges associated with delivering an order are either included in the product price or covered by OurTread.

The total displayed at checkout is therefore the final amount payable to OurTread for the order.

Customers will not be required to pay additional taxes, customs duties or import charges when their parcel is delivered.

This does not include fees independently imposed by your own bank or payment provider, such as:

  • Foreign-transaction fees

  • Currency-conversion costs

  • Other financial-service charges

Those independent charges are controlled by the relevant financial institution and are outside OurTread's control.

16. Changes to These Terms

OurTread may update these Terms as our:

Updates will not normally rewrite the terms applicable to an order that has already been completed, except where applicable law requires or permits otherwise.
